Objectives
To study the theory and practice of media in Eastern Europe from 1917 to 1991.Syllabus
From Leninist media theory through censorship in Eastern Europe to glasnost and beyond.
Teaching methods
Lectures and seminars.
Methods of assessment
One assessed essay of approximately 1500 words to be submitted at the end of the semester. One examination of two hours.
