Objectives

The application of fundamental scientific principles to solve problems in food research.

Syllabus

The application of fundamental scientific principles to solve problems in food research. Students will be given a choice of research topics relevant to the research activity of the Department and, in some cases, suggested by industrial companies.

Library-based literature review equivalent to 7.5 credits in second semester followed by supervised laboratory-based individual experimental research project until after the end of semester 2.
