Objectives

On completion of this module students doing:
- DESIGN PROJECTS should be able to examine all aspects of job planning and implementation from feasibility through to detailed design and writing a final report.
- INVESTIGATIVE PROJECTS should similarly be able to plan and manage a research project, conduct the research and write a research report. Many design projects include an investigative component.

Syllabus

Students may undertake either a design project (typically one of a small number of pre-set projects) or an individual research project.

Projects are supervised on a one-to-one basis and assessment is by written report, all students make an individual submission.
