Syllabus
Candidates should identify, define and engage with a management issue of an appropriate strategic level. Such a management issue should be characterised by a level of uncertainty and request for implementing a change in an organisation. The answers of how to implement the change should not be evident. They should result from combining conceptual knowledge with action-based learning. Once the change issue is identified candidates combine relevant management theory and the ability to apply it in an action-based learning context. Based on existent academic evidence and personal experience candidates develop new ideas and attempt to implement them through appropriate actions. They reflect on implemented actions in an action-learning set. The written project report provides conceptually embedded and analytical description of bringing about the change for individuals, teams and organisations.
