Objectives
On completion of this module, students should be able to:a) draw up a workplan, identifying aims and objectives achievable withing the time available;
b) understand how to conduct independent research;
c) plan and execute a short-term research programme;
d) analyse and discuss their results and draw appropriate conclusions;
e) prepare a dissertation on their work
f) communicate technical information to a non-expert audience.
