This module is aimed at you if you are a student interested in developing your own research skills and applying them to a real world projectObjectives
The aim of this module is to give students an introduction to interdisciplinary research and to designing and carrying out a supervised, directed project. Teaching will be around the process of doing research and on ethical issues in research.Learning outcomes
At the end of this module students will demonstrate knowledge and understanding of:
-a range of different disciplinary perspectives and how these interrelate
-the process of using different research methods and methodologies from different discipline areas
-how to plan a small research project
-how to carry out a small research project
-ethical issues in research
