Objectives

On completion of this module, students should be able to:

1. demonstrate a fully informed, critical and analytical understanding of a significant issue in education related to healthcare, through a research project;
2. demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of techniques applicable to their own research, or advanced scholarship in clinical education;
3. demonstrate independent learning.

Skills outcomes
Exhibit self-direction and effective decision making in complex and unpredictable situations.


Syllabus

Students will undertake a critical study which will involve them in a systematic study of a teaching and learning question. Normally, students will draw on their workplace for the study. They will be expected to take into account ethical considerations in their study.
