1. Create design work appropriate to the conventions of different types of media
2. Effectively implement design concepts related to colour, typography, branding, composition and layout
3. Create design work that adheres to relevant technical formats and specifications
4. Successfully integrate a range of contemporary design software into an appropriate technical workflow
5. Analyse, evaluate and reflect upon design work using formal methods of critique

Syllabus
The module involves the study of design concepts, contemporary design software and the conventions of design for different types of media.
Students will produce a varied portfolio of design work and analyse, evaluate and reflect upon design work using formal methods of critique. These tasks are intended to develop creative, technical and analytical skills related to design and visual communication.

Opportunities for Formative Feedback
