Ecah topic area within the syllabus will be assessed through in course assessments such as online MCQ's delivered through the VLE or the preparation and submission of tutorial questions. The essay will test the students broad level of understanding of the module and the process and style of scientific writing. A resit for these assessments will be taken during the August resit period. When marking, compensation between the assessments is allowed to achieve an overall passing mark.
