Module summary
This module focuses on composing and producing music for specific commercial briefs using a digital audio workstation (DAW) such as Logic Pro. Some prior experience of working with a DAW is necessary for this module, which explores production techniques that are underpinned by students’ existing fundamental knowledge of this sort of software package.Objectives
This module provides experience of creative music practice through industry-specific writing briefsLearning outcomes
On completion of this module, students should be able to use Digital Audio Workstation software to compose, produce and edit music projects according to pre-specified requirements.
Syllabus
DAW composition, sequencing, editing and production for a variety of media applications, including commercial popular music and moving image.
