Objectives

Students will further hone their computational skills by developing programs in relevant modern computer programming languages which address concepts relevant to physics and physics related disciplines.

Learning outcomes
Understand and describe how computer code carries out processes to manipulate information. Be able to create and demonstrate the correct use of computer programs to analyse and manipulate numerical data representing physical quantities.

Skills outcomes
Increased awareness of how to generate working computer programs to solve problems relevant to physics and physics related disciplines.


Syllabus

Students will develop an appreciation for data analysis, visualisation and computational modelling and thier application to problems relevant to physics and related disciplines
