The scope and format of their assessed work will be discussed. appropriate strategies for making will be explored as students engage with the work of artists and designers and identify contexts for their personal work.

Students will document research and reading in a research and analysis file, which will be reviewed through tutorials.

- The portfolio will constitute a body of visual work including exploratory work, more sustained work and resolved pieces.
- Practical investigations should reflect an engagement with a variety of processes and enquiry
- Drawing and other visual research methods will support an in-depth critical appraisal of chosen processes and related outcomes.
