Modules are available in a wide range of languages and to suit a range of abilities and timetables. The emphasis in our teaching is on achieving practical communication in all of the four main language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing. Our teaching takes place in practical and interactive weekly classes of no more than 16 learners and uses the modern facilities and technology of the Language Centre, including our excellent Self Access Area. Most of the modules run over both semesters, but not all do : check our full listing carefully. Modules entitled Beginners are reserved strictly for those who have never engaged in any formal learning of the language. For all other modules, from Elementary to Advanced levels, we will direct you according to your qualifications and experience..For full details on all of our modules and services, visit our website or email us at langfl@leeds.ac.uk.
