Objectives

To develop the knowledge, understanding and skills to undertake psychiatric research.

Learning outcomes
Design, carry out, analyse and write up an original research project.

Respond to the practrical challenges of undertaking psychiatric research


Syllabus

The student has the opportunity to be assisted in the choosing of a topic by a named academic contact. The topic may be from any mental health related field; it may therefore address a clinical or basic science question. Once the topic is established, a research supervisor or supervisors will be confirmed.
