Objectives

On completion of this module, students should be able to:
a) be taught through research experience the planning, execution and maintenance of a statistics project;
b) present their project as a dissertation, which will be presented orally.

- Programming.


Syllabus

Each student will discuss with an individual supervisor a suitable research project. The title and objectives of the project will be approved by the Programme Manager.

As far as possible, the projects will reflect the particular interests of individual students.

Private study

Reading books and journal articles, writing mathematics, and performing computations and analyses as required by the research under the guidance of the supervisor.
