Objectives
This module is ONLY available to MRes Climate & Atmospheric Science studentsOn completion of this module, students will have the necessary skills for analysis of digital data, fluid and elasto-dynamics, and associated numerical and computational techniques required to conduct independent research and to complete their research project.
Syllabus
Carry out a computer-based project set by an assigned supervisor.
Attend lectures from two of the following courses (total 20 UG credits)*:
- SOEE2092 Meteorology
- SOEE2190 Time Series Analysis
- SOEE2250 Numerical Methods and Statistics
- SOEE2481 Atmospheric Pollution from Local to Global Scales
- SOEE2530 Atmospheric Physics
- SOEE2210 Atmosphere and Ocean Dynamics.
