Objectives
This module is ONLY available to MRes Climate & Atmospheric Science studentsOn completion of this module students will have acquired specialist scientific knowledge in a selected area of Earth/Climate sciences which will permit the student to complete their research project.
Syllabus
Literature-based survey set by research project supervisor.
The student will attend lectures selected from two of the following modules (20 UG credits)*:
- SOEE3151 Dynamics of weather systems
- SOEE3190 Earth Observations from Space
- SOEE3410 Atmosphere and Ocean Climate Change processes
- SOEE5540M Climate Change: Physical Science Basis
- SOEE5550M Climate Change: Impacts and Adaptation
