Module summary

A 'light' post-GCSE level course which encourages communication in the target language. The study of grammatical structures and cultural awareness is incorporated into the language programme. Self-study in the Self-Access Area is integrated into the monitoring and assessment. The specific load of individual study work for students will be defined in the Scheme of Work for the course. The portfolio assessment method allows students to target their own interests and areas of linguistic weakness.
