Objectives

On completion of this module, students should be able to make an original and valuable contribution to knowledge and understanding of an aspect of the subject with which the module is concerned; and, in doing so, to acquire the requisite skills of locating and interpreting relevant primary and secondary source material, collating and analysing evidence and presenting research findings in a lucid and coherent form.

490 hour research and tutorial preparation

Tutorial time will also include dissertation workshops and presentation of dissertation project at the MA symosium at the end of semester 2 and feedback from this session.
