HECS5325M Advanced Clinical Practice End Point Assessment

Pre-requisite qualifications

Prior to commencing the End Point Assessment (EPA) module, students are required to meet all Gateway Criteria for the Integrated Degree Apprenticeship and the Programme lead and employer must;
- Ensure that the student / apprentice is registered with a statutory regulator and has proof of current registration.
- Has achieved English and mathematics qualifications as per general apprenticeship requirements.
- Has achieved 160 credits on the programme prior to commencing the EPA module (NB. Must have been confirmed by School of Healthcare Progress and Awards Board)
- The employer must confirm that the requirements of the apprentice agreement and knowledge, skills and behaviours from the standard have been met in the apprentice's workplace and that the apprentice is ready to progress to the EPA.

This module is not approved as an Elective

Module summary

This module allows you to demonstrate the necessary knowledge, skills and behaviours associated with achievement of the Advanced Clinical Practice Apprenticeship standard.

Objectives

The aim of this module is to provide for independent synoptic assessment of the knowledge skills and behaviours of the Advanced Clinical Practice apprenticeship standard.

Learning outcomes
On successful completion of this module, apprentices will have achieved the Advanced Clinical practice apprenticeship standard.


Syllabus

The module has no taught content. It is a medium solely for assessment.

Private study

Students will engage with their clinical educator at regular intervals to discuss and demonstrate their progress and readiness for the End-Point Assessment Event.

Opportunities for Formative Feedback

None. Academic supervision within the period of the End Point Assessment is not permitted.
