Module summary
The aim of this module is to provide the student with an understanding and knowledge of the range of routine work undertaken together with the basic skills and attitudes relevant to an audiology practitioner. It will provide a foundation from which the student should continue to build on their audiological knowledge, skills and experience learning through a combination of lectures, clinical skills based practical sessions in university as well as work-based training whilst attending a clinical placement. The module will provide the opportunity to begin to integrate and embed many of the clinical and professional practice learning outcomes and enable the student to practice safely in the workplace. Objectives
