Objectives
To evaluate the factors involved in radiographic pattern recognition; to analyse patterns of injury/disease; to assess a radiograph for demonstration of pathology under consideration; to appraise the criteria involved in the acceptance/non-acceptance of radiographs.Syllabus
Consolidation and further development of the principles of radiographic pattern recognition with an emphasis on differential diagnosis; pathology of the musculo-skeletal system; pathology of the thoracic region; pathology of the abdominal region; patterns of injury; aids to differential diagnosis; decision making skills with respect to radiography.
