Module summary

This module will allow you to explore the nature and role of entrepreneurship and will encourage you to develop the skills and knowledge that you will need to apply innovative and creative problem-solving skills within an organisational context.

Objectives

The objectives of this module are to:
1. Enable students to develop an understanding of entrepreneurship
2. Encourage students to develop an understanding of the theories and concepts related to innovation and creativity
3. Encourage students to develop the use of innovative and creative problem solving skills.

Learning outcomes
On successful completion of this module, students will be able to:
1. Explain relevant concepts and theories relating to innovation
2. Explain the nature and role of entrepreneurship
3. Explain the role of creativity and innovation within a contemporary enterprise
4. Apply relevant processes and skills involved in creating and launching a new enterprise
