Objectives

This course is designed to ensure that Masters level graduates are able to: (a) understand the rationale and key principles of systematic reviews, and (b) undertake narrative systematic reviews that meet the standards laid out in the PRISMA-P (https://www.equator-network.org/reporting-guidelines/prisma-protocols/) and PRISMA statements (http://www.prisma-statement.org/).

Students should be confident in managing the systematic review process, extracting data, and narratively synthesising evidence from academic journals.

4) Follow PRISMA-P and PRISMA guidelines and narratively synthesise evidence, producing a PRISMA compliant systematic review.

Skills outcomes
Ability to undertake narrative systematic reviews that meet the standard laid out in the PRISMA2020 statement (http://www.prisma-statement.org/).
