Entry requirements:
Upper second class or first class bachelors degree or international equivalent. A background in business or management is desirable though applicants from other disciplines will be considered. Work experience is desirable but not essential.
Applicants whose first language is not English will need to attain:
TOEFL iBT: At least 88 overall with a minimum of 19 in Listening, 20 in Reading, 22 in Speaking and 21 in Writing.
IELTS test you need to achieve a score of 6 or more in each section and an overall score of 6.5.

Programme Aims:
The MSc Enterprise & Entrepreneurship programme will provide students with a critical understanding of entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship and social enterprise, and specifically the process of new venture creation within different environments. This includes opportunity identification, innovation management and financial literacy. In addition, students will study the differences in how enterprise is viewed globally and how entrepreneurship theory translates into practice and policy.
Our graduates will:
- Comprehend and critically evaluate theories and practice of enterprise and entrepreneurship
- Confidently engage in entrepreneurial activity (in their own enterprise or in other places of work) resulting in the creation of economic and/or social value
- Understand the scope of enterprise and entrepreneurship activity on a global scale
- Demonstrate an awareness of different ethical, social and sustainable approaches to enterprise
Distinctiveness of the programme:
The MSc Enterprise & Entrepreneurship will enable students develop a critical understanding and comprehension of the theory and practice of enterprise on a global scale. It will equip them with the skills, knowledge and confidence to start, develop and engage in enterprise activities and to effectively exploit business opportunities for economic and social value. They will also be able to demonstrate an awareness of different ethical, social and sustainable approaches to enterprise.
This unique programme supports students in developing enterprise skills by providing them with insights into the creation of economic and social value through entrepreneurial activity. This includes the identification of new products, processes and markets to innovatively exploit opportunities. It is delivered by internationally recognised academics and supported by a group of highly skilled entrepreneurs. The programme uses a sound theoretical and research-led approach to develop knowledge and understanding of enterprise and entrepreneurship. The Centre for Enterprise & Entrepreneurship Studies uses cutting edge action-based teaching techniques in order to stimulate and enhance students' skills development. The programme allows them to experience the real world challenges of enterprise, both locally and globally.
Completion of the MSc Enterprise & Entrepreneurship will provide students with the knowledge and confidence to achieve economic and social impact. It is designed specifically for students who aspire to start their own business or social enterprise, develop an existing family firm or start a career in corporate venturing. Graduates from the programme will be equipped to succeed in a wide range of competitive environments and be able to draw on a number of key transferable skills to exploit global opportunities. Students with a background in Business or Management are desirable although applicants from other disciplines will be considered.

Students are eligible for the award if they pass the 150 credits of modules (including any pass for progression modules) and achieve an overall average mark of 50 or above, calculated across the 180 credits of modules.
