There is no QAA Subject Benchmark Statement. The complexity and depth of the course, as well as learner autonomy, are completely appropriate for the level of the award, which is indeed fully aligned to the Frameworks for Higher Education Qualifications.

Programme specification:
The programme will equip graduates with the multidisciplinary set of skills needed for them to become "changemakers" in the global environmental sector. Solutions to the global biodiversity crisis require an appreciation of the social, economic, political, and ethical aspects of environment challenges that influence the way in which we go about conserving the natural world. You will be trained in not only the technical, scientific aspects of biodiversity conservation, but also the broader issues in sustainability that are part and parcel of conservation science in the broadest sense. Through an understanding of the way that conservation projects are designed, managed, evaluated, and communicated in collaboration with stakeholders, you will learn how to deliver effective conservation solutions in any situation.
