Programme specification:

1) The programme is highly interdisciplinary, bridging disciplinary divides in understandings and approaches to tackling inequalities in novel and important ways.
2) The programme has a strong and innovative methodological focus – including traditional qualitative and quantitative approaches to inequalities and new approaches to data visualisation and analytics from across social science disciplines.
3) There is a strong emphasis on engagement with policy and practices aimed at tackling inequalities across the programme. This is embedded in the capstone module and dissertation module and complemented by a range of co-curricular activities as well as strong links to the LSSI Inequalities Research Network.
