There are no QAA subject benchmarks specific to a postgraduate programme in public health international against which the programme can be assessed. Programme specification:

The joint programme at Leeds is one of several programmes in the UK with a focus on public health in an international context. The major selling points of the programme are:
• the exposure to public health experience in the UK
• two distinct streams with a focus either on public health intervention and services or health policy and systems.
• the opportunity to study in a multidisciplinary environment where learning and teaching is shared with other NCIHD postgraduate students
• the accessibility of and support by academic staff for our students
• the diverse and relevant range of option modules including the Geneva study tour
The city of Leeds is a premier student destination because of its multi-culture, variety of student accommodation that are near the university campus, supportive learning environment, and low cost of living compared to that of London. The NCIHD and the University of Leeds are brands that attract students as does the active alumni network and the strong international working background of our academics.
The option of doing the programme with a module based on primary data collection over a period of 18 months instead of the 12 month durations of most similar programmes in the UK and other European countries will be another unique selling point.
