At the end of the programme, students should:
- have developed a sound knowledge and skills base in the core areas of the discipline of computing;
- have developed a specialist knowledge and skill base in specified areas of Information Technology with particular reference to the business applications of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence;
- be prepared for graduate careers in the IT industry and other contexts;
- be prepared for further study either in the context of Continuing Professional Development or through further engagement in Higher Education.
