Programme specification:
The MA in Political Communication is a unique programme that provides theoretical and applied knowledge in the key areas of political communication. Particular attention is paid to the theory and practice of political marketing alongside studies of public opinion, international communications and political journalism.
The programme pursues an interdisciplinary and comparative approach including not only the experience of established democracies like Britain, Western Europe and the US, but also the particular problems of political communication in emerging democracies and the developing world.
The MA in Political Communication provides cutting-edge competences for a career in political public relations, political journalism and related fields. It is also an ideal foundation course for students who want to pursue an academic career in political communication and related subjects.
