Programme specification:
The aims of the BA in Geography with Transport are to provide students with:
1) An opportunity to study the discipline of human geography and to focus on transport planning in more detail as they progress through the programme.
2) A balanced curriculum which enables the acquisition of a range of practical, computational, research and problem solving skills as well as the development of factual and conceptual knowledge of human geography and transport planning.
3) A structured sequence of compulsory, optional and elective modules with an appropriate combination of teaching, learning and assessment methods, providing a clear progression from one level to the next.
4) An environment in which they can achieve their full potential in terms of the development of communication and presentation capabilities that are relevant to a wide range of career opportunities.

Candidates participating in a recognised exchange as part of the 4-year international programme will spend a year studying abroad between levels 2 and 3.
Candidates participating in a recognised industrial placement as part of the 4-year industrial programme will spend a year working between levels 2 and 3.
