They will also be able to critically evaluate different ethical, social and sustainable approaches to enterprise.
This unique programme supports students in developing enterprise skills by providing them with insights into the creation of economic and social value through entrepreneurial activity. This includes the identification of new products, processes and markets to innovatively exploit opportunities. It is delivered by internationally recognised academics and supported by a group of highly skilled entrepreneurs. The programme uses a sound theoretical and research-led approach to develop knowledge and understanding of enterprise and entrepreneurship. The Leeds Enterprise Centre uses cutting edge action-based teaching techniques in order to stimulate and enhance students’ skills development. The programme allows them to experience the ‘real world’ challenges of enterprise, both locally and globally. The distinctive ‘Enterprise Project’ gives them the chance to apply their skills and critical understanding. As part of a multidisciplinary team, they will undertake a strategic developmental role within an organisation.
