1st or 2nd (min 2i) class UK honours degree, or equivalent, in engineering, a physical science or mathematics.

Programme specification:

The programme will:

1. Offer a broad range of advanced subjects across mechanical engineering. Particular emphasis is placed on the application of computational methods and packages in mechanical engineering analysis, design and manufacture.

2. Be individually tailored by the student to suit his/her particular needs and interests, by selecting modules from a wide range of options. It is aimed at graduate engineers who wish to pursue a career in industry using advanced engineering techniques.


3. Provide in depth knowledge in specific subject areas to those graduates who are considering a research career in either industry or academia.
