Entry requirements:

A UK bachelor degree (hons) minimum 2:1 in Mechanical, Civil or general Engineering to exclude previous aerospace background and to include advanced mathematics, fluid mechanics, strength of materials and dynamics.

Programme specification:

The programme will offer quality and comprehensive training in aerospace engineering.

It is designed to ensure that graduates possess the key knowledge and competences for a career in the aerospace industry. The programme falls under the remit of the Aerospace Engineering Industrial Advisory Board who will provide advice on running the course and its content, comprising Senior Engineers/Pilots from Rolls-Royce, Airbus Innovations, BAE Systems, Airbus Defence & Space, BOND Helicopters and the Manufacturing Technology Centre. The School of Mechanical Engineering is currently seeking accreditation by the Royal Aeronautical Society.
