Entry requirements:
- GCSE English Language, minimum grade B or higher.
- GCSE Mathematics, minimum grade A or higher.
- Typically grades AAA at A Level, excluding General Studies and Critical Thinking.
When English is not the first language, students will need to provide evidence of English language ability, either directly from a partner university or through qualifications such as TOEFL (score of 580 overall and 4.0 in the Test of Written English) and IELTS (score of 6.5 overall, with no skill below 5.5), all in accordance with standard LUBS entry requirements and policy.

Programme specification:
On completion of the programme students should:
- have knowledge and understanding of the main management disciplines and how the international dimension impinges upon these disciplines from both a theoretical and practical perspective;
- have the analytical and intellectual skills to understand and to better manage complex organisations, especially in an international context;
- recognise and interpret the impact of host country conditions, the international economy, supranational organizations and initiatives, and cultural differences and traditions on the scale, scope and nature of inward and outward business activities (e.g. trade, direct investment and technology flows) of national economies;
- appreciate the nature of international firms, their strategies and operations, and the principal factors governing the management of international business;
- demonstrate an understanding of the core concepts of international business theory and their application to the dynamics and constraints of international business strategy, operations and management.
- have developed deeper specialist knowledge and understanding in chosen subject areas of international business;
- possess the quantitative, presentational, IT and other transferable skills that are highly valued by employers in a wide range of career choices, especially when working in an international setting;
- have the opportunity to study for a language and/or transfer to a 4-year 'International', 'Industrial' or ‘Research' versions of the
programme, in which Year 3 is spent at a foreign exchange partner University of LUBS or in a placement organization (in
the UK or abroad) or at a research centre.
- have knowledge and understanding of financial and management accounting and of business finance;
- have the learning and competence in the core skills necessary for practising accounting and finance;
- have an understanding of the processes through which subject knowledge is created, so that they become aware of the increasing rate of change and development within the theory and practice of accounting and finance;
- have the opportunity, through the choice of optional modules, to pursue individual interests in accounting and finance and related disciplines;
- have developed deeper specialist knowledge and understanding of accounting and finance as a discipline .
