The International Foundation Year – Arts and Social Science Route programme offers an opportunity to those international students who have the potential and motivation to succeed, but who do not yet have the formal qualifications required for entry to level 1 of a University of Leeds arts-related undergraduate degree programme.
It is a one year foundation year (level 0) programme taught at National Qualification Framework (NQF) level 3.
The programme provides a firm grounding in the subjects required for the students’ intended undergraduate degree programmes. Those who successfully complete level 0 are admitted to one of a wide range of arts- and social science-related undergraduate degree programmes offered by the University. For a list of these degree programmes, please see the International Foundation Year website.
