Entry requirements:

Academic Requirements: Applicants are required to achieve specific grades in an appropriate qualification (usually deemed equivalent to AS Level).

English Language Requirements: Applicants will be expected to provide evidence of English language skills equivalent to IELTS Overall score of 6.0, with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.

The initial year (IFY) of the programme is at NQF level 3 and QAA Subject Benchmarks are not applicable. Years 1-3 are already validated full degree programmes and are referenced to subject benchmarks.

Programme specification:

The Bachelor Degree with Integrated International Foundation Year (Healthcare) is an extended 4-year degree. It offers an opportunity to those international students who have the potential and motivation to succeed, but who do not yet have the formal qualifications required for entry to Year 1 of a University of Leeds Healthcare-related undergraduate degree programme.

The International Foundation Year will provide a firm grounding in the subjects required for the students’ intended continued undergraduate study. Successful completion of the initial year will guarantee you progression onto your chosen undergraduate degree at Leeds.
