This would qualify them to work in Middle East related fields, or pursue further advanced studies on the Middle East. No knowledge of Arabic is required although students with Arabic are welcome.
Middle Eastern Studies is a popular and expanding field, especially in the light of the rising importance and relevance of the area in international affairs. This programme would offer a valuable opportunity for in-depth study of the Middle East without the need to master the language.
