EDUC5016M Leading Teaching and Learning Through Evidence-based Practice - Independent critical engagement with research and writings and professional debate about dealing with a range of aspects of teaching, learning and assessment and leadership. Development of a range of practitioner enquiry skills. Application, of related conceptual tools to analysing own classroom activities.
Assessment
EDUC5016M Leading Teaching and Learning Through Evidence-based Practice - Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge and understanding of a full range of key aspects of teaching, learning, assessment and leadership, along with appropriate enquiry methodology, to prepare a report on activity in own classroom. Critically evaluate findings and consider implications for own professional development and the school's development. The two assignments will focus on: 1. critical evaluation of the role collaboration - students will have the choice of focussing either on managing collaborative learning for pupils, or, managing teacher collaboration in a department 2. critical evaluation of the role and effectiveness of formative assessment in supporting children's learning in the classroom.
