Learning outcomes
On completion of this course, students will be able to:- Describe a range of systemic approaches and examples of their application- Take a critical stance to systemic ideas and their value and use relevant literature to support their critical approach- Place systemic therapy in a historical context- Use systemic ideas to combat discrimination and promote anti-discriminatory practice- Describe the implications of adherence to the AFT code of ethics- Describe their own family and cultural experiences from a systemic perspective- Demonstrate, through role play, a range of practical skills including genogram construction, circular questioning and positive connotation- Give an account of their own personal learning process
