Learning outcomes

On completion of the year/programme students should have provided evidence of being able to:
• identify, describe and discuss significant educational, cultural and social experiences of living and studying in another country. In particular they will have:
o an international perspective on relevant disciplinary understanding
o knowledge of the history, culture, language and social organisation of the study abroad country, gained through personal experiences
• demonstrate an enhanced awareness of the international aspects of policy, research and practice
• be better prepared for the world of work or for further study, and to develop an appreciation of the value of life-long learning and education to themselves and the wider community
