On completion of the year/programme students should have provided evidence of being able to:- Demonstrate a familiarity with the basic concepts, information, practical competencies and techniques which are associated with the theory and practice of work as a nursing associate.- Demonstrate knowledge of the main methods of enquiry in the subject and the ability to use established techniques to undertake analysis of information in order to propose solutions.- The ability to evaluate the appropriateness of different approaches to solving problems and to apply these in a work context.- The ability to apply their knowledge and skills to new situations, including in the workplace.- Appreciate their strengths and weaknesses as learners.- Demonstrate an awareness of professional and disciplinary boundaries.- Identify ethical issues in their professional practice and work through ethical issues in their professional practice that present questions of conflicting priorities and moral imperatives.
