Learning outcomes

At the end of this programme you will be able to demonstrate:
1. In-depth knowledge of the governance regimes that seek to address key global challenges, as well as key governance sectors, institutions and ideas.
2. The ability to think critically about current issues and research in the discipline.
3. Critical insights from case studies in global governance and diplomacy and experiential learning-based teaching.
4.Knowledge and experience from real-world stakeholders in international issues.
5.Experience and engagement with an interdisciplinary teaching team.

Skills Learning Outcomes
At the end of this programme you will be able to:
1. Design and develop an independent research project; drawing on relevant research methods.
2. Critically engage in the development of and contribute to the field.
3. Use digital skills in a variety of contexts to discover and retrieve information, to produce documents, and to communicate and present findings to others.
4. Communicate your ideas confidently, concisely and persuasively to individuals and groups across a range of formats.
5. Gather, interrogate and use information and data to identify whether it is accurate and relevant, drawing on a range of international scholarly databases.

Assessment

Each module is assessed separately, through assessments that range from long essays to projects and assignments, offering you the opportunity to work in your particular field of interest within each topic area.
