Syllabus

This module is designed for prospective students participating in the Widening Participation Access to Leeds scheme.

Students undertake an assignment associated with the subject area that they have chosen for study at degree level. They will be supported in preparation for this by on-line skills development resources and individual advice from a tutor in the department to which they hope to progress.

The exact nature of the work undertaken is determined by the department to which the student is applying. The module aims to allow students to demonstrate the best of the work that they have done for A levels, or to demonstrate their potential as a student at Leeds through another form of assignment if deemed more appropriate by the student's department (e.g. for some subjects, the work may involve a maths test).
