Objectives
On completion of the module, students will be able to demonstrate an advanced knowledge of the general approaches and frameworks used in macroeconomics.Syllabus
Develop the alternative theoretical models of the macro economy presented in the level 1 and level 2 modules, with particular emphasis on their foundations. Compare and contrast Keynesian and classical theory of money, unemployment and inflation. Consider the theoretical and empirical arguments for and against the use of stabilisation policies.
