Objectives

To give students the experience of pursuing a philosophical topic in depth through independent research, and producing a text comparable in length and style (though not necessarily originality) to a substantial article in a philosophical journal.

Syllabus

The topic is of the student's own choosing, but is subject to the approval of the School and to the availability of an appropriately qualified supervisor.
