Objectives
The module builds upon the introductory biochemistry of molecules, pathways and cells studied at level one.Learning outcomes

Protein folding
Function of chaperones
Antibody structure and function
Use of antibodies in molecular biology
RNA biology
Bacterial infections

Genes Theme:
Eukaryotic gene expression including

· Transcription factors and their modifications
· Long range regulatory elements
Bioinformatics in relation to gene regulation
The cell cycle
Genetic diseases and therapy including:
· Genome organisation
· forensic analysis
