Module summary
Most software is built by teams, consisting of people with a variety of skills. These teams will use specialised tools that help them to collaborate more effectively. This module exposes students to these ideas and tools in the context of an extended group project and gives them the opportunity to see how the principles learned in COMP2912 are applied in practice. Objectives
In this module, students will learn how to collaborate in teams on software development projects and will get the opportunity to apply the techniques learned in COMP2912 Software Engineering Principles to an extended group projectLearning outcomes
On successful completion of this module a student will have demonstrated the ability to:
- Engage in and contribute to an extended software development project as part of a small team
- Use collaboration tools such as version control, issue trackers and wikis to support the team's work
