Objectives

To introduce undergraduates to the study, use and assessment of primary source material in the discipline of international history; and to the nature, development and significance of historiographical debate through the critical assessment of associated secondary sources.

Syllabus

Sample strands in this module include the Cold War in Southeast Asia, the rise of Communism in East and Southeast Asia, and transnational Jewish history, 1880-1930.
