Objectives
On completion of this module, students should be able to ...Produce an independent and critical piece of work on a selected topic within the field of history and philosophy of science. The student should show a good grasp of the chosen field and relevant important literature, and display the ability to formulate a rigorous and independent extended argument.
Learning outcomes
Detailed and critical understanding of the relevant field, depending on the topic of the dissertation.
Skills outcomes
The module will develop skills in independent research. Some skills will depend upon the student’s choice of topic.
